Women's Cricket in England and Beyond
"Sixes" - excellent way to lose your wicket - let's stick to 4s. - Less exciting but maybe more productive in the long run.If I take off my England hat then my highlight of 2014 would have to be the batting of Smriti Mandhana and she didn't even get a mention (did she?) - shame on you!Felt South Africa very nervous at first and they got better with every match. Women's cricket needs teams to challenge the few at the top.Podcasts an excellent idea so I'll be expecting one after every England international in 2015 - and preferably a few more than that!Don
Very interesting and well delivered podcast containing some very cogent points – although it’s tough trying to be brutally honest when you know quite a few of the players.Odedra seems to receive the most negative comment whilst I would suggest there are several other players that deserved it a lot more – after all Odedra was not the reason for any of England’s under performance whilst other players were. There was only oblique criticism of England’s batting in the T20 World Cup – something I would opine was really quite dreadful and was basically the reason we didn’t win it. It was often truly painful to watch.Consider running ‘even closer to the edge’ by actually taking players individually and assesses their performance.Look forward to the next one.
